Overview

Silverlake Ramen, nestled in El Paso’s Eastlake neighborhood, is quickly carving out a name for itself among Japanese cuisine enthusiasts. This cozy spot offers a fresh take on ramen and Japanese comfort food, bringing a balance of traditional flavors and modern twists. Located conveniently on Eastlake Blvd, it caters well to both locals and visitors seeking a thoughtful dining experience with room to relax.

The true stars of Silverlake Ramen are their signature bowls. The Garlic Truffle Ramen stands out with its rich, creamy broth—an elegant marriage of pork and vegetable stock infused with garlic and truffle oil, accompanied by kale and mushrooms. It’s hearty yet refined, appealing to those who appreciate depth and umami in their soup. Meanwhile, the Classic Tonkotsu offers a traditional creamy pork broth that is satisfying and well-rounded, ideal for purists who love their ramen authentic and restorative.

For those looking beyond ramen, the Chicken Karaage Bowl is a must-try. The Japanese-style fried chicken is crispy, tender, and perfectly paired with teriyaki sauce and a touch of spicy aioli. It’s an inviting choice for anyone craving comfort food with a punch of flavor over fluffy rice. The menu also includes creative rice bowls that balance proteins like spicy tuna or ground chicken with fresh greens and bold seasonings, expanding the appeal beyond noodle lovers.

One of the highlights of dining at Silverlake Ramen is the attentive and friendly service, which enhances the overall experience. Guests like “Gummy Bear” praise the staff’s warmth and attentiveness, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step in. This level of hospitality makes Silverlake a cozy spot whether you’re on a casual date, a family outing, or grabbing a satisfying meal with friends.

Though the space is designed to accommodate a steady flow without feeling overcrowded, it maintains a laid-back vibe — perfect for those who want to savor their meal without rushing. The Eastlake location is less hectic compared to their original setting, as customers note, allowing for fresher, more carefully crafted dishes. This makes it an excellent choice for both ramen aficionados and newcomers alike.

While the drink options are somewhat limited, with staples like Canada Dry Ginger Ale and hot or iced green teas, they complement the dishes without distraction. Silverlake Ramen serves up quality over quantity, a philosophy that extends from their kitchen to the dining environment.

In essence, Silverlake Ramen is a culinary invitation to explore Japanese comfort food crafted with care and finesse. It’s a spot that appreciates the nuances of broth, the texture of noodles, and the harmony of flavors on the plate. Whether you’re chasing the earthy aroma of truffle, the satisfying crunch of karaage, or just a comforting bowl of tonkotsu, Silverlake Ramen offers a memorable experience right here in El Paso.

My boyfriend and I loved going to the West location and we are so excited that the Eastlake location finally opened up as it's 5 minutes away from where we live we have only been here once but I can say that the food at this location is 10x better. It's more fresh and less rushed, probably because it doesn't get as busy as the west location. We loved it so much and we will be coming back more often!

My first time eating here. I had tried Yamaguchi Ramen closer to my residence, just as a convenience. Silverlake is far superior in their broths. The pork belly was amazing, fall apart but yet grilled. The noodles were great, compared to Yamaguchis, which seem to be just thin packaged spaghetti. The gyoza perfectly crispy.

Great and friendly service. The broccolini with that special dressing is amazing, a must try. Ramen bowls are very generously served. Make sure you have plenty of stomach space for it. Crispy rice with tuna is also very good, just wish the portion was a little bigger. Soda drink options are very limited. Overall a good place to go.

We tried the ramen here and really enjoyed the experience overall. The broth was Subtle but flavorful, and while I personally like a little more flavor, everything was fresh and well prepared. The atmosphere was great, and the service was friendly and quick. Definitely a nice spot to try if you’re in the area!

I’ve found my new favorite place for Ramen!! My server was Diane, and she was so nice and helpful She recommended the half green tea, half lemonade for our drink . It was super refreshing and delicious! Service was really fast. And the food was extremely hot, which is a plus for me. I will definitely recommend this place and I will come back soon. Thank you so much for the excellent service!
